The Hero of Waterloo Hotel, a genuinely Irish pub steeped in colonial history, came to us with a brief to update their brand across all touchpoints. We evolved their brand to emphasise the pub’s longstanding heritage and value to The Rocks area in Sydney, and applied the new brand to a suite of corporate stationery. The website was rebuilt using constrained colour and emotive photography, presenting the pub as a place of history, nostalgia and good times. We then integrated the pub’s digital presence with social media networks, Facebook and Twitter. This is an ongoing relationship in which we continue to manage the social media strategy on a day-to-day basis.
